The ancient epic of Ramakien framed by further, more modern shows are staged with

elaborate light and sound effects within the historical temple compound every year in November

as part of the Phimai Festival.

The actors are acknowledged professionals as well as countless young girls and boys of Phimai,

who gladly train the whole year for this occasion.
