Air-conditioned buses run hourly every day from Bangkok’s North-East Bus Terminal (Mo Chit)

to Khorat (= Nakhon Ratchasima). The bus ride takes between 4 and 4 1/2 hours.

Local buses leave from Khorat’s (new) bus terminal for Phimai (and on to Chumphuang) on weekdays hourly, 

but not later than 16:00. 

Attention: Due to COVID 19 and ensuing economic difficulties weekend/holiday bus traffic is much less frequent:

local buses from Khorat to Phimai leave at 8:00, 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00;

buses from Phimai to Khorat leave at 8:10, 9:20 and 10:50
